why we made Notoo.
A notepad, a PDF splitter, a journal, a bookmark manager. Most of the tools people reach for during a working day ask for an email address before they will do anything, then keep the result on someone else’s database behind a monthly fee.
Notoo is the same set of tools with that part removed. Every app writes to your browser’s own storage, so there is no sign-up, no spinner, no file-size cap and no watermark, and once a page has loaded it keeps working with the wifi off.
It is deliberately a family rather than one suite. You open editor.notoo.app to write, tools.notoo.app to merge a PDF, journal.notoo.app to keep a diary. Each is its own address you can pin or share, each loads only itself, and each exports its whole library to a single portable file. That last part is the point: leaving is per-app, not all-or-nothing.
An account exists, but only for the things that genuinely need a server: optional cloud sync in the editor, the journal and Bookmarkly, publishing a Cardstock sheet or a Bookmarkly collection at a link, and Notoo Pro billing. Leave all of it alone and nothing you write is ever uploaded.
